Our client, a Health Medical Organization with operations in Nairobi and Mombasa is looking to recruit Qualified Medical Doctors.
Main Objective of Position
The main role of these positions is to ensure and provide quality clinical and surgical care services and ensuring medical care provided is in line with the MOH standard guidelines.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Provide quality medical and surgical care in supported facilities.
- Provide technical support to the Medical teams.
- Ensure a good referral system is in place for emergency cases.
- Perform emergency surgical interventions when needed
- To be on call for Obstetric emergencies.
- Ensure quality control of disinfections and sterilization processes of material and equipment.
- Participate in medical and team meetings
- Report writing.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Education: Medical Doctor with OBS/GYN surgical skills
- Minimum 1 years post registration experience
- Fluency in written and spoken English Kiswahili
- Team Player with cultural awareness and flexibility
- Diplomatic and able to work in a complex environment

Reporting to the Chairman of Department, through the CO- PIs , the successful candidate will be expected to assist in the coordination of technical activities including mentorship and supervision in HIV prevention, care and treatment with PACT Nairobi supported sites.
He/she will also handle proposal writing and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports to the donor.

Field Study Coordinator

Applicants should be holders of at least a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology or its equivalent.
They must have at least three (3) years relevant experience on HIV/AIDS issues.
They must be computer proficient and show evidence of good leadership, management and communication skills and also knowledge in Qualitative Research.
The successful candidate will be expected to:-
- Supervise field staff, ensure appropriate data is collected and uploaded, leadership of field activities;
- Make monthly reports of project activities and expenses;
- Order supplies and ensure appropriate custody;
- Liaise with relevant offices including local administration, Ministry of health and University of Nairobi to facilitate study administration and implementation;
- Liaise with Project Administrator with regards to study purchases and any other administrative issues;
- Keep clear records of all financial transactions;
- Keep the Principal Investigators updated ton all administrative , research and financial matters;
- Any other duty that may be assigned by Principal Investigator from time to time.

Job specification
The job entails:-
1. Patient care and management
- Provision of comprehensive and good quality clinical services to patients
- Ordering investigation and interpretation of results for diagnosis
- Coordinating medical examinations tests.
4. Responding during outbreaks and emergencies in collaboration with public health officers
5. Ensuring availability of required equipment and ensuring continuity in the supply of consumables in the clinic.
6. Provide HIV/AIDS counseling, testing, PMTCT, preparation and adherence to antiretroviral drugs.
7. Undertake minor surgeries and administer drugs.
8. Preparation of reports
Requirements:
Must have :
- C+ in KCSE
- Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery from a recognized institution
- Must be registered with the clinical officer’s council with a current practicing licence.
- Must have a certificate in Voluntary Counseling and Testing from a recognized institution.
- At least 2 years experience as a clinical officer position.
- Experience working with HIV care and treatment programs.
- Strong knowledge of Anti-Retroviral drugs and experience in provision of HIV care is an added advantage.
- Self starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
