We are currently seeking to recruit the following:

Job Title: Sales Executive
Report To: Marketing Manager
Department: Sales & Marketing/ Business Development

Salary scale
: 15,000-25,000 + attractive commission and allowances.
Job Description: The overall role of the incumbent will be to ensure proper identification, qualification and timely response to sales leads and to prepare pitches of services offered to new clients.

Purpose of the Job:
To introduce and promote the specified product range, ensuring sales are maximized through the channel whilst delivering the best service and customer satisfaction.

The Sales Executive will specifically be responsible for the following:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company;
  • Meet sales targets and define the strategy to achieve these targets;
  • Manage the proposal development process and maintain time-lines;
  • Initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market;
  • Follow-up new business opportunities and set-up discovery meetings to understand client requirements and project needs;
  • Disseminate clients project requirements to project team for preparation of fee and scope proposals;
  • Conduct on-site visits to scope the work;
  • Conduct prospective clients’ risk-analysis;
  • Oversee the development of relevant templates such as project needs analysis, Service Level Agreements and other relevant documentation;
  • Facilitate and Coordinate with the in-house team and any consultants on any feasibility study components of Ensure new opportunities are converted business rate.
  • Achieving sales targets set each month by the Marketing Manager.
  • Weekly and monthly report
  • Monthly and quarterly targets; sales plan
Job Content & Context:

  • To pro- actively seek new business in the specified product range
  • Maintain an agreed level of proactive telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers
  • Ensure that customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion

Candidate profile:
  • Work experience in construction or relevant professional discipline
  • Must some commercial and business awareness
  • Can demonstrate a good level of negotiation and communication skills.
  • Can demonstrate their ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations
  • Can demonstrate their ability to manage their time so that they can maximize the number of calls made to a customer
  • Understands how to research and identify prospective customers.
  • Need to work in a team
Skills set / competencies
  • Understands the sales process
  • Ability to demonstrate Interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Can present feedback using Word or Excel
  • Smart and presentable
  • Bachelors degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Construction, Project Management or Commercial and Business Administration;
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in Interior design, construction project management or a Commercial/ Marketing role;
  • Strong customer account focus;
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills;
  • Ability to implement and deliver short, medium and long strategies;
  • Posses a “can do” attitude with a desire to make things happen at a very fast pace;
  • Ability to interact with client representatives at all levels;
  • High level of initiative and creativity.
